“EMBRACE THEM IN presence, beauty AND generosity.”
— Carolina Agudelo
Mindfulness is bringing your awareness to the present moment and fully accepting it as is.
Practicing mindfulness helps us engage our frontal lobe or thinking brain, which is the one responsible to help us function from a rational state rather than a reactive state. Teaching children, and including them in these activities helps them generate skills that lead to being an emotionally stable and fully functioning human being.
Through my education and also mainly my own parenting journey I’ve discovered tools that have highly contributed to the emotional intelligence development of my children and also myself.
